Rymir Satterthwaite, the man who has claimed to be the son of JAY-Z, is dropping his decade-long paternity suit against the legendary Brooklyn rapper.
Spotted on HipHopNMore, Satterthwaite has long claimed that Jigga was his father and had a relationship with his mother, Wanda, in 1992. The claims raised eyebrows at the time because that would have meant that JAY-Z, who would have been 22 at the time, was in a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old girl.
The courts were not buying what Satterthwaite and his mother were selling, dismissing the claims due to a lack of evidence.
Satterwaite’s mother requested a paternity test for two people, JAY-Z and another man named Robert Graves. Graves took the test, and it was determined he was Rymir’s father. JAY-Z never showed up.
Fans began to chime in on the matter, with some siding with Hov not giving them any attention because it was a smear campaign, while others believed this made the Hip-Hop star and mogul look bad.
Even after the court dismissed with filings, and the passing of his mother in 2019, Satterthwaite still pushed on with his aunt’s support. Still, now he has officially given up on the matter after officially withdrawing his lawsuit, bringing to an end a paternity dispute that we will probably never get to see come to a conclusion.
Somewhere, JAY-Z is doing his signature giggle.
